Hair Fall Treatment

Our harmones govern the development of hair that appears after puberty. The male harmone testosterone, governs beard, body hair and hair in the armpits. The female harmone estrogen generally prevents hair growth on the chin and encourage it to grow on the head.
Occassionally women develop signs of hair loss or baldness when estrogen levels drop. Treatment withn estrogen has been successful in restoring hair growth and stopping of hair fall.



Eat a protein rich diet including green leafy vegetables, carrots, soyabean, mango, dried apricots, whole grain cereals, sprouts, lentils, yeast, wheat germ milk, yogurt and butter milk in the daily diet.
Eat food rich in Vitamin A and iodine such as carrots, spinach, turnips, mustard, soya beans, peanuts and pine nuts.
Hair Fall Remedies

Make a habbit:
  • Do not wash your hair with too hot water
  • Do not wash your hair more than twice a week. Use only a mild shampoo
  • Do not comb the hair backwards. Use a good quality comb/brush. Avoid excess brushing.
  • Massage the scalp vigorously after bathing it with water. This stimulate the blood circulation and strengthens the hair.
  • Coconut oil and caster are very good for hair. Boil dry pieces of amla in coconut oil and apply on hair.
  • Massage your hair with coconut milk or Aloe Vera gel and leave for 1/2 hour then rinse with warm water. Repeat thrice a week.
  • Massage your scalp and hair with mixture of honey and egg yolk. Leave for 1/2 hour and rinse.
  • Massage almond oil on scalp 2-3 times a day daily. This will stop further hair loss.
  • Scrb the bald portion with onion until it gets red and then apply honey.
  • Grind 1/2 cup of black daal lentil with 1 tbsp of fenugreek seeds (meethi dana) to a coarse powder. Mix well half a cup of yogurt into the powder and massage on the scalp. Leave for 2 hours then rinse.
  • Mix equal amount of almond and caster oil and massage over the scalp at least once a week
  • Make a hair pack by mixing amla powder with one egg. Apply it on your hair and leave for 1/2 hour. Wash your hair.
  • Grind lime seeds with black pepper in equal number in some water and apply on the scalp regularly.
  • Place raw mango pulp in some oil for a year. Massage this oil on the scalp regularly.
  • Apply a paste hot olive oil, honey and 1 tsp cinnamon powder before bath and keep for 15 minutes.
  • Apply juice of coriander leaves on the head.
  • Boil 1 cup mustard oil with 4 tbsp henna (mehndi powder) leaves. Filter and bottle. Massage on the scalp regularly. It is very good for hair growth.
  • Make a paste by grinding fenugreek (methi dana) seeds with water. Massage on the scalp after oiling the hair and leave it for one hour befor washing. Repeat it every morning for a month.
  • Make a paste by mixing 2 eggs, 2 tbsp each of amla, reetha and shikakai powder. Massage on the scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo. Repeat it for 3-4 times a week.
  • Mix 1 egg with 2.5 cup of milk powder and 1 tbsp of wheat germ oil. Massage on the scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo.
Drink
  • Drink 1 tsp cider vinegar mixed in 1 glass of water with meals for 2-3 weeks.
  • Drink a soothie of banana, honey, yogurt and skim milk.
  • Drink daily a juice of alfalfa + fresh spinach. Your hair will grow fast.
  • Drink half a litre of a mixture of lettuce and spinach juice daily to increase growth of hair.
  • Apply a paste of lemon seeds and black pepper on the bald patches.
